A well-known figure particularly in the Rayalaseema region and Hyderabad, he was a very close associate of Shri Pendekanti Venkatasubbaiah Garu, who served as Governor of Bihar and Karnataka and Union Minister of State for Home and Parliamentary Affairs in the cabinets of Smt. Indira Gandhi Ji and Shri. Rajiv Gandhi Ji.

Served as a Steward/Board Member of the Hyderabad Race Club. (Two years elected and seven years government nominated.)

Late. Nawab Mir Hyder Ali Khan with Princess Haya bin Hussein, daughter of King Hussein of Jordon, wife of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum of Dubai & Cyrus S. Poonawalla an Indian billionaire businessman, Chairman and Managing Director of the Poonawalla Group, which includes the Serum Institute of India.
